Visit Beautiful Fairfield, Ct.

Dogwoods on Greenfield Hill, Fairfield, Ct.

To my mind, Fairfield in May is the prettiest place on earth. The dogwoods are still in their glory and all the leaves on the trees are fully open. The variety of birds is delightful, they sing to us all day long. Our mighty opreys in the nearby marsh are busy with their eggs and fishing in Ash Creek

This online presence is new and in development. Although Osprey House is almost fully booked for the remainder of 2016, the week of August 20-27 is currently available at the summer rate of $2000.

The months of January through spring are open, but Fairfield University graduation weekend 2017 is already spoken for.

My family is looking forward to our time at Osprey House in June. The amount of walking and biking we do while we are in residence is amazing to us! My husband is up and out on his bicycle first thing. I like to walk to the marina with my coffee and see the sun come up over Long Island Sound.

In the evenings we love to walk along the Old Post Road through the historic district, past Town Hall and Burr Mansion, to Fairfield Center for dinner. We bring a flashlight to find the sidewalk on the way back!

Jennings Beach, Fairfield, Ct.
Some nights we will bring charcoal and a picnic to the braziers on Jennings Beach and cook dinner by the seaside. On lazier nights we pick up take out from one of the scores of fabulous Fairfield restaurants.

Walking, biking, relaxing, eating, birdwatching, seeing the boats go in and out the channel at the marina, catching a concert at the gazebo on Sherman Green — this is what summer at Osprey House means to us!
